This is my first time here and I thought this was an inter­est­ing prompt. I don’t write a lot of flash fic­tion and this one was a pain due to 1,000 words I strug­gled to reach…lol. But, I feel it was worth it.

Thanks for your com­ment and point­ing out what I obvi­ously missed about it not need­ing to be 1,000 words. I’m glad I pushed myself though because my flash is usu­ally shorter, so I’ve accom­plished some­thing with 1,000 words.
